Welcome to the US Snipe Class’ web page dedicated to women sailing in Snipes! We pride ourselves on community and camaraderie along with Serious Sailing, Serious Fun®. This is the place to make connections, learn about Snipes, share tips and tricks for sailing these boats, and join the sisterhood of women’s Snipe sailing!

Contact the National Secretary to add your women’s regatta or to connect with other women’s snipe skippers and crews. For local women’s snipe opportunities contact your District Governor or Fleet Captain.

In 2010 the Women’s Nationals was held in Jacksonville FL at the Florida Yacht Club, April 10 and 11th. 12 wonens teams participated and Carol Cronin and Kim Couranz from Newport and Annapolis won the event. See the info contained on the ’national’ section of the calendar under ’Regattas/Results’. Additional inks are listed below. The venue for the 2011 Women’s Nationals has not been determined.

The women have an added bonus this year. The Snipe Class Women’s World Championship will be in St Petersburg, FL at the St Pete Yacht Club November 8 - 11. 26 teams from 10 countries including 12 teams from the USA are expected to participate.
