      Junior World's Allocation 2013

The Junior Worlds are being held at the Open Worlds regatta site in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, September 14-20. The USA has open allocations at this exciting regatta which is being held at the 2016 Olympic site. Four Junior teams who qualified for the Worlds have committed to attending. Additional teams may attend. These teams will be selected on the strength of their sailing resume with priority going to juniors who sailed in the junior qualifying events: 2012 Junior Nationals, Carolyn Nute Regatta, and 2013 Miami Under 30 Invitational. Please include your birth date in your resume. Please use this form to submit your interest in attending the Junior Snipe Worlds: US Junior Team Application

Please send your sailing resume to Betsy@SnipeUSA.com by May 31. Resumes will be considered and selection made by June 15. Juniors who attend the Rio Worlds should attend the US Nationals and other major SCIRA regattas throughout the summer. They should plan on participating in a Junior clinic to be held in advance of the Junior Nationals at the Buffalo Canoe Club in July. Kathleen Tocke will serve as the junior coach at the Worlds and will run practice clinics in advance of the event onsite in Rio.
