Brasil Rules on Day 3 at Worlds Date: September 9, 2009 Author: Don Hackbarth Day 3 Teams from Brasil won the two races today, Amorim and Bianche in the first race. Mario Tinoco and Matheus Goncalves, reigning Junior Worlds Champions, the second race. Having 7 races completed one throw out is now in the results. The throwout has boosted the Japan team of Nakamura and Shiraishi into 3 rd overall behind Amorim and Polop (ESP, 16, 6 today). Nakumuraq had an OCS (50) for a throw and finished 10, 5 today.
The USA team shffled a little with some rsing up and some down. Rodriguez and Place moved up to 6th with a 3 and a 10 with a throw of28. Augie and Kathleen dropped down to 8th with a 12 and a 9 and a 14 for a throw. Nick Voss and John Fretwell are in 10th with a 15,13 today and a throw of 19, Bissell 12th having a 19, 15 today and a 22 for a throw.. George Szabo (Star World Champ) and Carol Cronin moved up to 15th with a 23 and an 8, throwing a 33.
